What kind of projects can I make with the CAMEO 5?
You can create original stickers, T-shirts, paper crafts, and many other types of projects using your favorite designs and materials. By using optional tools, you can also work with fabric and synthetic leather or create projects using techniques beyond cutting, such as sketching and heat foiling.
What are the main features of the CAMEO 5?
The CAMEO 5 is one of the fastest, most precise, and quietest cutting machines in Silhouette's lineup. It is a grit-roller type cutting machine that can flexibly handle various material widths up to 12 inches. With the included roll feeder, it can also cut longer roll materials.
What types of materials can the CAMEO 5 cut?
Using the included AutoBlade, you can easily cut vinyl, heat transfer materials, and cardstock. With optional tools, you can also cut fabrics, felt, synthetic leather, EVA sheets, and thin rubber sheets.
Does the CAMEO 5 offer functions other than cutting?
Yes. By using a variety of optional tools, you can perform processes beyond cutting. With the Heat Pen Set, you can apply heat foiling; the Embossing Tool allows you to emboss or deboss on cardstock; and with the pen holder you can sketch or do calligraphy using your favorite pens.
What do I need to start creating projects with the CAMEO 5?
All you need is a computer and the material you want to cut to start creating right away. The CAMEO 5 includes an AutoBlade, a cutting mat, and the Silhouette Studio software, so once the machine arrives you can begin designing and cutting immediately.
