New Features

New simplified license key system for software upgrades!

• Apply license keys to unlock upgrade editions by going to Help > Apply Upgrade Edition  
• Once a license key code has been applied to your Silhouette account on one device, you no longer need to provide your license key code on other new devices.
• You can easily activate your upgrade edition on up to 3 simultaneous devices by simply logging into your account using your account credentials at Help > Apply Upgrade Edition.

1. Library export! You can now use the Library Export function, under the username menu in the Library, to quickly export user-created library files to a zip folder on your computer.
2. Auto-release cutter preference. You can now set Studio to automatically release your machine's USB connection when your Studio window is not active. Recommended only for use when Studio's connection is causing conflict with a third-party USB device.

• Firmware v1.12 for Cameo 4 is now available.
  • This firmware update provides a new delayed loading option that can detect your mat or material, thus allowing you to use both hands when loading. To use this new delayed loading option:
    1. First, press the Load button on your Cameo 4
    2. Next, hold your mat or material in the correct positioning up against the pinch rollers 
    3. Wait 3 seconds, and the Cameo 4 will then load the mat or material into the machine

• Cut Settings panel now includes two Cutting Modes: Standard and Advanced. The Standard cut mode offers a familiar set up for users of previous software versions which allows individal images to be selected and assigned a cut style (No Cut, Cut, Cut Edge, Perforate, Perforate Edge). Cut condition selected in Standard mode will apply to all images. The Advancedmode offers the ability to cut by line color or by the image fill color. Designer Edition users can also cut by layer. Multiple conditions can be applied according to color/layer, as desired.
• Moved Auto-weld option from general Advanced Cut Settings section to the Advanced cut mode, so that an Auto-weld option can apply to each color/layer individually.
• Removed line segment styles from specific cut condition settings.
• Dashed/Perforated lines now working correctly
• Corrected cut area ability to expand beyond cutting mat area when not using a cutting mat.
